My last night in the good ol' USA

I have successfully packed the essentials of my life in two suitcases and one backpack, and I did so with surprising ease.  Tomorrow I will be leaving to study abroad in the Czech Republic for two and a half months!  I have thought about traveling to Europe since High School but I never actually believed that I would have the opportunity already.  I am going abroad with a group of 22 students and one professor from the university.  Thankfully I will be able to share this trip with two of my dearest friends, Jenna Dubas and Ali Mercado.  Through this program we also go on field trips to Austria, Italy, Germany and Poland.  I am most excited for Austria because of my love of the movie Sound of Music.  Even though I cannot sing, I WILL sing in the hills like Maria when I get to Austria.  Besides that, I really have no big plans or worries about this trip.  I am fully trusting that God will lead me through my journey and that with Him by my side I will overcome the many obstacles that I am bound to face.  I will be posting here weekly with pictures and stories about my semester in Europe!

I would just like to give a special thanks to my loving parents, my Grandma Dolezal, Grandpa and Grandma Wiese, Mark Michelle and family, and Jan Doug and family for thinking of me and generously giving money.  With out all of your help, this trip would not have been possible!
